Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases from www.helmetdock.co.za. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy.
1. Our business details
Legal business name: HelmetDock
Telephone: 082 923 8421
Email: sales@helmetdock.co.za
Website: www.helmetdock.co.za
2. Products
HelmetDock supplies wall-mounted motorcycle helmet, jacket and key holders.
Product descriptions, dimensions, materials and included components appear on the relevant product page. Unless expressly included, helmets, jackets, keys, motorcycles and other items shown in photographs are for illustration only.
Photographs may include styled or digitally created scenes. The product description and specifications identify what you are purchasing. Nothing in these terms limits your right to receive goods that match their description.
3. Orders
Please review your products, quantities, delivery address and total cost before submitting an order.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. We accept the order when we send confirmation that it has been accepted for fulfilment.
If we cannot fulfil your order, we will notify you and refund any payment due within the applicable legal period. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in South African Rand.
The total payable, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete checkout.
Payment must be received and cleared before dispatch. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
If a pricing or product-listing error affects your order, we will explain the error and seek your agreement before proceeding with any change. You will not be charged an additional amount without authorisation. Applicable consumer pricing rights remain unaffected.
5. Delivery
Delivery areas: South Africa
Usual dispatch time: 5 -14 days
Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 3 days
Delivery charges are displayed at checkout or agreed with you before payment.
Please provide an accurate address and contact number. If incorrect information or a missed delivery results in an additional delivery charge, we will explain and agree the charge with you before arranging another attempt.
We will notify you of material delays. Courier delays do not remove your statutory rights or our delivery obligations.
Where applicable consumer law places delivery risk on us, the goods remain at our risk until delivery is accepted by you or your authorised recipient.
6. Installation and use
Follow the supplied assembly and installation instructions.
The wall and fixings must be suitable for the product and intended load. Supplied wall plugs may not suit every wall type. Seek advice from a competent installer if you are unsure.
Use HelmetDock only for its intended purpose. Do not climb on it, use it to support a person, modify it contrary to instructions or exceed any stated load limit.
Inspect the installation periodically and stop using it if the holder, wall or fixings become loose or damaged.
These precautions do not exclude responsibility for a defective product or inadequate instructions where the law provides a remedy.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how to request a cancellation, return, replacement, repair or refund.
Nothing in that policy or these terms removes rights provided by the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, where applicable.
8. Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website to browse products, make genuine enquiries and place lawful orders.
You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or use it fraudulently.
HelmetDock branding and original website content may not be reproduced commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.
9. Privacy
We handle personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy. Information required for orders may be shared with payment providers and delivery partners to fulfil your purchase.
10. Liability and consumer rights
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, these terms do not waive applicable rights concerning unsafe or defective goods, product-related harm, fraud or gross negligence.
Responsibility for damage involving installation, misuse or alterations will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version presented when you placed your order applies to that order unless a legally required change applies.
12. Complaints and governing law
Please send complaints to sales@helmetdock.co.za, including your order number and a description of the issue.
South African law governs these terms. You retain the right to approach a competent court, applicable ombud or consumer authority.
You may save or print these terms and retain your order confirmation for your records.
